Citrine is the transparent, pale yellow to orange variety of quartz. Citrine is rare in nature, and colour comes from traces of iron. Today it’s attractive colour plus the durability and affordability it shares with most other quartzes, makes it the most top-selling yellow to orange gem. Along with Topaz, Citrine is the birthstone for November babies.

It’s also recognized as the gem that commemorates the 13th wedding anniversary.
