In ancient Maya and Aztec civilisations, cacao was said to be one of the foods of the gods and carried great significance. As well as being a valuable trading currency and symbol of wealth, Mayan texts describe the cacao as heart-opening, allowing you to connect with yourself and others in meaningful ways. Our silversmiths bring the cacao bean to life in this sculptural pendant. The polished, ridged bean drops from an Italian-made snake chain with a generous extension to help you find the perfect length.
